Equipped with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from the University of Southern Maine and continuous education to stay informed about evolving medical care and insurance landscapes, Joan has developed a strong expertise in navigating the complexities of health insurance. She has witnessed firsthand the anxiety and stress that individuals and their families endure in times of medical crises. In addition to her nursing expertise, Joan has played an active role in shaping healthcare policy. As a Health Insurance Broker, she actively engages with clients, asking important questions to identify concerns and find tailored solutions. Her goal is to identify health insurance options and prescription drug programs to minimize the burden of unexpected medical bills. Joan enjoys five grandchildren. She finds solace in outdoor activities like camping in her vintage camper and hiking at Acadia National Park, always accompanied by a good book, delicious bread & dark chocolate!
